He was also a member of the Lower North Coast Catchment Management Board. John Weate is the Executive Officer of Great Lakes Community Resources, the Chair of the CMA’s Strategic Investment Committee and is also Chair of the Great Lakes Council’s Wallis Lake Estuary and Catchment Committees, which won the Theiss National Riverprize in 2004.
